A very close game between the two sides today, with Yorkshire narrowing as the victors. Some good steady performances from some however all U21's seriously under-performing and heavily missing doubles. But well done to Yorkshire and best of luck for the rest of the season. Thanks to all at the Glasshoughton W.M.C for an enjoyable day.

A dissapointing start to 2012 for Tyne and Wear after ending 2011 on a high. Durham were fantastic all day and have started the year as they mean to go on. After looking at the table, Tyne and Wear drop from 2nd to 3rd with Durham taking the 2nd position behind Lancashire. They will have to go some way to catch them but with a game in hand. Best of luck to both teams for the year ahead.

A truly gripping day of darts was had at the Golden Eagle Hotel with both teams playing really well all day, and the match going all the way to a final game decider with Tyne and Wear coming out on top. Well done to every player from Tyne and Wear including the new additions. Cleveland proving that although they are a new addition to the County Youth League, they are most definitely not a walk in the park. Cleveland played excellent all day and a big thank you goes out to everyone involved with running the team; Claire, Tony, Colin and Kenny to name a few, a great job you have done and a steady solid team you have. Well done everyone, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

A big well done to Lancashire, again missed doubles costing Tyne and Wear who easily could have had more points. Tyne and Wear stay mid table with Lancashire fighting for top spot with Yorkshire, however Lancashire with a game in hand. Tyne and Wear aiming for a good result away against Cleveland in two weeks. Thank you to the Top Club and all involved for an enjoyable day of Darts.

A thoroughly enjoyable day of darts was had by everyone. A shame Tyne and Wear had to drop 2 points due to a shortage of players but they did themselves proud (actually winning 7-6 today without conceding the 2 points) a big thank you to Cumbria for a great day and well don everyone. See you at our venue in March. Thanks again.
