Former Northumberland and Gateshead ladies players Mary Lorraine and Chris Fitton are on their way to Las Vegas for next years World Electronic Darts Finals.
Mary and Chris play for Benalmadena team La Carambola in the Malaga League,The team won the Ladies team Championship which earned them the trip to Las Vegas. Chris also won the ladies singles and teamed up with Mary to take the Ladies Pairs at the National Competition held at Cadiz

North East Player Paul Nicholson lost to Austrailia's Simon Whitlock in the first round of the Bodog.com World Grand Prix in Dublin lastnight,
Nicholson was beaten two sets to nil (3-1 3-1) and had an average of 26.00 per dart. During the match Whitlock (who is in exhibition at Crook, see exhibition page on here) hit a 170 finish.
