Robbo Misses Out On Semi-Final Spot.

Frimley Green,January 6.

Northumberland based Gary Robson's valiant bid for a Lakeside World Darts semi final place ended in defeat against Welsh captain Martin Phillips. Gary lost 5-4 in sets for the third time in his Lakeside attempt by the same scoreline.

Robbo looked on track for a win when leading 3-1 in sets, but Phillips fought back. Both players put on a great show for the sell out crowd.

Gary looked as relaxed as I have ever seen him play on television. He will be pleased with his form and this should spur him on for better things in 2011.

Gary threw 44x100 25 x 100+ 8 x 180 highest finishes 112,100,123, he also threw 17969 darts during the game.

and an average of 29.31.
