Paul Knighton won the Men's Lakeside Qualifier for Durham beating Chris Allum 2-1 in sets. Ladies qualifier was Marie Peart who beat Wendy Douthwaite 3-2

  Whitley Bay Seahorse team made it through to the Grand Finals of the Marston's
  in Wolverhampton on August 20, they secured the finals place beating Glendale
  Social Club, Houghton le Spring, in both legs.
